To Whom It May Concern, I would like to apply for a position of claims rep for ALL the exclusive group of Camp Lejeune Water Survivors. I will only need ONE stamp (APPROVED) to help clear your backlog of claims for all those suffering. I have knowledge of someone who specializes in dumpster-diving to locate misdirected claims so these fine folks won't need to refile. There is no need in offering me your huge bonus package or the 2.6 million dollar trips to Las Vegas as I am fine where I am. I am sure I can recruit several others to help speed the process. If interested, please reply to this post. I wait to hear from you.

Hey B., I'm sure that Western North Carolina can use an assistant claims rep.. I'd like to apply for the job. With you, Candy and me, that would mean that we need 3 "APPROVED" stamps. I wouldn't expect a huge bonus check either. In the past, even when I knew I was going to be fired for not signing an agreement to pay (in the event of some imaginary future accident) my employer's auto insurance deductible, I did an honest day's work. For months, the employer tried to get me to quit my job, right up to the last day. When the boss from South Carolina (I heard that my immediate bosses refused to fire me) came to fire me on that last day, he met me as I arrived at work. He hinted that I didn't need to finish the day. I told him I wasn't going home and he asked what I was going to do. I told him that I was going to do my job to the best of my ability and as accurately as I could, right up to the instant that he fired me. The company seemed to be at a loss because I did, knowing for months that I was going to be fired, do my job to the best of my ability. Evidently they thought that I would try to get even by reading months worth of, or at least the last day's, meters inaccurately (thereby costing the company money). I did not do that because, based upon my faith, it is my responsibility to do my job to the best of my ability for as long as I am employed by any employer. I didn't get any bonus for doing the job well. I didn't get a trip to anywhere but the unemployment line. I had to appeal the first decision in order to get my unemployment but by that time I had already found another job. As you can tell, I didn't even stiff the company by attempting to draw unemployment indefinitely. I think the the government could count on me to do an honest day's work in the absence of bonus checks and tax payer funded Vegas "entertainment". ********* Personally, I've got nothing against Vegas. From what I understand, "What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas". What I have a problem with is, when tax payer money, which is supposed to be spent on Veterans and their families, is spent on "entertainment" in Vegas. If VA personnel want to spend money on "entertainment" in Vegas, that's sure to help the Vegas economy (and GOD knows that any help to the economy would be a good thing). I just think that money spent in Vegas should be personal money, not tax payer money. The theory that those who have spoken up about the misuse of VA money (tax payer money) in Vegas have made some judgment about "entertainers" in Vegas is simply a smoke screen designed to hide the misuse of VA money. Personally, I don't care, if a VA employee spends money on 10 Vegas "entertainers" of assorted variety and flavors, as long as he/she spends his/her own money and not tax payer money. VA money should be spent on Veterans and their families. Any other use of VA money breaks trust with the entire nation. Veterans risked their lives or were willing to risk their lives to defend the social experiment we call the United States of America. The test tube known as Camp Lejeune has produced some by-products. Powerful people may call such by-products inconvenient. I call such by-products husband, miscarriage and son. I call such by-products friends. I call such by-products MY CAMP LEJEUNE FAMILY! ********* Hey B., you got your recruits. I wonder, if you'll get the job? Carol
